The debut of the Q-Ball racing team took place last night, at the Internationally famous Great Lakes Drag-Away in Scenic Union Grove Wisconsin... It was a beautiful night for racing,,, a crisp 74.5 degrees, slightly overcast which allowed these massive machines to pump out the serious horsepower that they are designed for...

The team shunned their business suits early in the afternoon and met up at the Home Base for the racing operation to ready the rigs and head out for the road trip to the track, Once the tools, bike stands, extra motors, wheelie bars, and the racing leathers were all secured into the trailers we took off for the track.

Team Driver Danbo, ( aka Q-Ball ) decided to drain the nitro from the fuel tank and give his Buell a shake down run to the track rather than trailer it there.. No Weenie trailer queens for this team!!!

We blasted into the pits and secured our Reserved spot and setup camp.. Here is a sneak peak at our impressive layout.. John Force look out, we were the envy of EVERY Jap bike riding fool there!!

Alright enough funny business,,, time to get serious and get this machine race ready!!! Head mechanic and driver Danbo tears into the rolling toolbox and begins to whip tools everywhere at a feverous pace......

Notice how calm cool and collective this seasoned veteran is as he readies his Trusty Steed for the heat of battle.... No stomach butterflies for this cowboy! Quick top off on the fluid levels,,, adjustment of the wheelie bars, and don his racing suit and he is ready for tech inspection...

Now that all the technical stuff is aside us, we bring fire the beast up and bring her up to the line for an all out flame throwing blast down 1340 feet of thundering power!!!

Getting ready to slide on into the water box and heat up that slick.. Oh yeah right, in a last minute decision Danbo decided to give the rest of the competition a slight advantage and run the street tire on this Machine..

Inching ever so slowly to the break the beams and set the tree in motion... Nothing but professional concentration for this rider.. Notice the full leathers and no white socks on the racer closer to you... Sheesh,, no track fashion there!!!!

Staging duel all set,,, bring the RPM's up to around 7 or 8 grand and get ready for the launch...

Yellow... Yellow.... Yellow....

GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at that other racer just sitting there as Danbo Cuts a perfect 1.3 reaction time and launches his machine down the 1/4 mile like a seasoned veteran.... Those wheelie bars never even touched the ground,, this kid is good... Power to weight ratio is so Finley tuned that he thunders down the track with no troubles at all!

Unfortunately about 1/8th mile ( or was it the starting line? ) the horse power on that rocket overtook the traction capabilities of the street tire and he started to spin ever so slightly.... Darn the bad luck.. Back to the trailer for some fine tuning... Perch the bike up on the custom Boyd Codington bike stand.. Team Manager and one of the major sponsors of this team Big Nick,, yes the same Big Nick of the World Famous Big Nick's Garage and 4th Gear Studios... http://www.4thgearstudios.com ( insert sponsor plug here ) Decides to tap his cranium and bestow some of his wisdom upon this young and upcoming racing star.... He instructs this young pup to drop the air pressure for the rather stiff 40 lbs down to a Track Grabbing 20lbs and give this baby another try....

VICTORY AT LAST those wheelie bars have been broken in and Team Q-Ball thunders to a Second Place finish at the first race of the year... We will be having a celebration party with complete video coverage of the entire event very soon, stay tuned and we will keep you posted for the rest of the season..

On behalf of Q-Ball Racing and the rest of the team we just want to say thanks for all your support and prayers..
